Hello
My name is Sarah Colbourne
I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and completed my training at The Minster Centre.
Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I worked in the Health and Fitness Industry for over 30 years. My own personal experience of therapy was both enriching and transformative, and this journey, together with my lived experiences, continues to inform my approach to practice today.
My therapeutic approach integrates both mind and body, as I truly believe they work best when in sync and harmony. My work with clients is grounded in trust, honesty and compassion.
Working collaboratively alongside my clients, I aim to foster a therapeutic relationship where we can safely explore both past and present experiences. I believe it is a privilege to sit with someone and witness their journey towards a future that nurtures the mind, body and soul, ultimately helping them to live fuller and more meaningful lives.
My goal is to create a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where individuals and couples feel heard, understood and empowered.
The first thing to do is contact me with your contact details and a brief description or any questions you may have regarding therapy. I will then get back in touch to arrange a session without obligation.
After the session, if we decide to work together, we can proceed with further sessions. This will involve a detailed assessment, which will give us an opportunity to explore how we might work together in a way that is relevant to your therapeutic needs. This could mean either short or long-term counselling.
